Groundforce Portugal received at Humberto Delgado Airport the United Safety Fair, a United Airlines event that aims to provide an exchange of knowledge and good practices concerning Safety in all the Airports the company flies to.

 

Groundforce Portugal employees, the United Airlines team and Lisbon airport security authorities joined the event and shared important topics such as airport safe driving, health care and specific procedures, specially while handling heavy volumes.

 

In addition to the presentations, United Airlines made a public acknowledgement of all Groundforce Portugal employees, who have a direct and daily contribution to the achievement of the companie’s goals.

 

As a consequence of great performance and extreme dedication, United Airlines delivered the United One Award to Mrs. Catarina Pereira, a Ramp Agent from Groundforce Portugal, for her great contribution to the Airline’s Safety Culture
Standards, at Lisbon Station.

 

For João Madeira, Groundforce Portugal Operations Deputy Director, “hosting this event for the first time in Portugal, in partnership with this important Client, reinforces the trust and collaboration between our company and United,  representing an important recognition of our excellency, within the scope of safe ground operations”.
