Groundforce Portugal premiers at Brands Like Bands Festival

On October 19th, Groundforce Portugal joined the Brands Like Bands Festival, a festival for companies’ bands that has been held since 2013 and is a unique initiative worldwide.

 

This festival has three main components: passion for music, in which musicians from various companies demonstrate that work and other activities can be reconciled alongside their professional and personal commitments; promoting companies by encouraging a high degree of involvement, motivation and resilience among their employees and, finally, bringing together leading companies in the same room in an innovative, creative and captivating manner, in association with a social cause.

 

For this edition, the choice fell on the association “Operação Nariz Vermelho”, to whom the box office revenues were completely donated.

 

Groundforce Portugal was beautifully represented by four of its employees from Lisbon Operations. Sharing a great passion for music, these fab four got together, rehearsed the repertoire and formed a band, The Handlers, whose performance at the Festival was a big success. In their performance, the Handlers included well known themes to everyone, ending precisely with Red Hot Chilli Peppers' "Aeroplane".

 

Participating in Brands Like Bands generated a lot of buzz and expectation in all employees, creating a wave of internal mobilization and support for these musicians who, in their role, proudly represented the entire company.
