Groundforce Portugal invests in new bus fleet

Groundforce Portugal  has just renewed its fleet with the acquisition of 12 COBUS 3000 buses,  environmentally and technologically more efficient, in order to meet the needs of its passengers through a significant improvement  in comfort and fluidity in boarding and disembarking.

COBUS is a bus brand developed specifically for airport environment, manufactured in Portugal by Caetano Bus, the world leader in this segment.

With capacity for 104 passengers and six side doors equipped with security system, and two engines - one of which exclusive for providing air conditioning, the buses are circulating at Lisbon Airport since August 2020.

At the same time, Groundforce's Engineering and Equipment Management is requalifying the company's bus park and the first unit has already been delivered to Faro Airport.

The refurbishment and modernization of the current fleet using existing resources is a bet of Groundforce, made possible thanks to the skills and knowledge of its workers.

The investment in the acquisition and requalification of the fleet proves Groundforce's commitment to continuous improvement  and constant adaptation to  the operation through the investment in more modern equipment,  combined with  a  more  effective use  of  its  resources.
