Groundforce Portugal is proud to share that it recently got its recertification as a IATA Accredited Dangerous Goods Training School, a recognition that comes from 2007, when the company first submitted its training materials for this important Certification.

It’s also important to mention IATA ATS has now become DGR CBTA (Competency-Based Approach to Dangerous Goods Training and Assessment) and Groundforce Portugal was the first Portuguese company to gather the necessary requirements to achieve this fresh designation. In the end of the day this means IATA took a close look at the certification requirements and adapted it into the present aviation challenges.

According to IATA the main goal of competency-based training and assessment (CBTA) is to use the correct tools so that training needs per job function are established and the right level of knowledge and skills is developed by employees, enabling them to perform their function and duties. And if this happens, we surely will keep on reaching industry standards and satisfying our customers ( both Airlines and Training Customers).
